KEEP MUSIC IN SCHOOLS FOUNDATION

Keep Music In Schools was founded by a group of musicians who were shocked to discover that there are thousands of K-12 schools in America that do not offer music classes or lessons because of budget constraints. The majority of these schools are located in lower income neighborhoods.

 

Knowing the incredible value that an education that includes music can have for anyone the world over, these musicians have made it their lifelong goal that no child who expresses a desire to play music is barred from lessons and instruments because of parental income.

 

Music should not be an optional elective, music should be considered a core curriculum need. Arts are not an afterthought, creating and experiencing art is the ultimate destination for a human being here on earth. Please help support the cause in any way you can!
